FTB Diaphragm Seals are especially suitable for pressure sources with
corrosive acids, fluids or sticky compounds combined where pressure
sources might harm the gauges directly. They are widely used in petroleum,
food, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries.
Diaphragm Material
Our standard diaphragm is made of S.S. 316 for upper and lower parts;
other requests for special materials, shown below, are acceptable on
demand.
S.S. 304, P.V.C., F.R.P., Nickel, Hastelloy B&C, Teflon (PTFE), Tantalum,
etc.
Liquids Filled
The selections of the fillings depend on the temperature expected in any
given applications. Our standard fillings are glycerine and silicone.
Capillary Tubes
Standard length of capillary tubes is 3 meters extending up to 10 meters.
Technical Data
Ranges: vacuum of -1/0 bar; minimum pressure of 1 bar and 400 bar maximum.
Temperature ranges: -20...+200°C (temperature of diaphragm) upto 400°C
max.
